Ziegler Arbeitsschutz GmbH is a steadily growing family business that was founded in *1978*. Today, thanks to the tireless efforts of our employees, longstanding business partners and numerous innovations, we are one of the world leaders in the production of metal ring meshes and personal protective equipment (PPE).
Our know-how is our strength, because all our machines for the production of our metal ring mesh were developed and manufactured ourselves.
Our ring meshes impress with a consistently high quality and flexibility. We supply our customers worldwide in 84 countries and in different industries.
Our product range includes gloves made of metal ring mesh in various designs, puncture-resistant aprons and boleros, which are mainly used in the food processing industry. Puncture protection inserts for ballistic safety products of well-known manufacturers are another innovative item from our customer-specific assortment and offer the highest degree of safety worldwide. In addition to our patented products, we also develop and produce special technical and industrial applications in cooperation with our esteemed customers. Following historical models, we manufacture protective clothing such as shirts, jackets, trousers, sleeves, hoods and much more, for exhibition fights, LARP, fantasy, theatre, film and museums. We implement new ideas with designers from the fields of fashion, jewellery and accessories, and conceive, create and design the widest variety of everyday objects. Many living and furnishing ideas, as well as outdoor designs are brought to life by our creative partners and, among other things, in the form of curtains and room dividers made of stainless steel ring mesh at our Vaihingen an der Enz location.
All of our products are manufactured in compliance with quality standards, user benefits and the social as well as environmental requirements. Our quality management system has been certified in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2015. In addition, we have been an Authorised Exporter since 2015 and have therefore received authorisation from the Main Customs Office on the simplified export of goods. In addition, we are certified as an Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) of the European Community for “Customs Simplification/Safety” (AEO F).
After many years of cooperation, the distribution company, Heilemann Sicherheitstechnik GmbH, was acquired in 2004. Just two years later, a subsidiary called Ziegler do Brasil was founded in Brazil. This company is responsible for the refinement and marketing of puncture-resistant products for the food processing industry in South America.
At our new location in Vaihingen an der Enz, we produce around 3500m² of metal ring mesh.
Our environment is very important to us! That’s why we are committed to being sustainable and socially responsible. Our production is particularly sustainable and we use resources to conserve resources. In October 2015, our cogeneration plant was put into operation. This covers nearly 100% of our heating needs. In addition, we produce around 25% of our electricity ourselves through our photovoltaic system, thereby reducing our energy and resource consumption enormously.
Our quality management system has been certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015. This norm is a worldwide recognized standard. It defines requirements for an effective quality management for companies. In May 2020 the certificate was renewed again after a recertification.
